Mr. Cameron Starc

Mr. Starc is a Chicago native who is passionate about teaching, learning, and mathematics. His first teaching post was at Harvest Christian Academy in Elgin, IL, where he taught everything from geometry to calculus and even middle school Spanish. He also taught geometry and calculus at Leander ISD after moving to Austin in 2015. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Elmhurst College (2002) and a Master of Arts in Teaching from National-Louis University (2017). Mr. Starc’s favorite class in college was Calculus; he still has his notes and the original book! One of the most interesting things about Mr. Starc is that he is married to Lisa, a visual effects artist for video games. She makes smoke, electricity, and explosions on a daily basis.
