Mrs. Jenifer Lisacek

Mrs. Jenifer Lisacek graduated in 1999 from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. She earned her State of Texas teaching certificate the same year. Since then Mrs. Lisacek has taught grades 2-5, with an emphasis on Language Arts and Literature. Her passion for the English language stemmed from her favorite university class, Children’s Literature. Though always an avid reader of all genres, it was in this course that she developed a deep appreciation for all that children’s written works can teach us, whether it be early language in picture books, metaphors in poetry, or imagery in young adult novels. Mrs. Lisacek believes in helping her community as much as possible. In addition to her first love, working with children, she fosters kittens for Austin Pets Alive and Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
