Dr. Stephanie McIntyre

Dr. Stephanie McIntyre is a native Texan born and raised in Denton. She graduated with a degree in History and a minor in English from the University of North Texas. She studied European and American history for a Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Tyler, and earned her doctorate from the Trans-Atlantic History program at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her teaching experience extends from teaching phonics at the Kindergarten level to American history at the college level. At the high school level, she has taught AP European history, AP American history, American government, IB economics, rhetoric, grammar, and physical science. At the junior high level, she has taught science and American and European history. In college, her favorite courses were any early American and European history classes, botany, zoology, chemistry, and linguistics. Dr. McIntyre thoroughly enjoys the students she works with and, deep inside, she’s really a softie.
