Ms. Tabitha Loy
Ms. Tabitha Loy has been a member of the faculty since the school's founding in 2014. She was born in Alamosa, Colorado, and grew up, for the most part, on a ranch in Pagosa Springs, CO. She received her B.A. in Literature and Secondary Education, from Wheaton College, where her favorite class was Shakespeare, taken in England during a summer program with the college. She later earned her M.A. in Special Education from Adams State University in Alamosa. Although Ms. Loy has taught middle school history, math, science, and literature for several years, her teaching experience includes every grade except Kindergarten and 5th grade, including high school British and American literature. She has also taught in the public (Chicago) and private (Denver) sectors, in addition to being a part of FCA. She is very proud of her three children, one of whom is an alumna of Founders Classical Academy of Leander.
